The introduction of the weapon skills will make the character customization even more diverse. Depending on the category of the weapon you use while fighting, your character will increase his Sword-, Axe-, Bludgeon-, or Piercing Weapon Skill. Each of these skills will have a different bonus on your character's stats when wearing a weapon of the corresponding category. The first weapon skill to reach level 10 will be your specialized weapon skill. Your specialized weapon skill can be trained up to level 20. All other skills cannot go higher than level 9.
